Testimonials

We wanted to retire in the Hill Country and we looked at dozens of homes and several builders before meeting Alan of Halyard Homes. I have been in the building industry for nearly 30 years and it was clear from the beginning that Alan operates differently. His attention to detail, thoughtful design and intentional layout is amazing. Halyard Homes is the type of family owned business that walks you through every decision, from costs, why some options do or do not make sense, no surprise change orders, no dodging phone calls, no vague timelines, and those characteristics all show up in the final product and overall experience. I invite anyone to come visit our home and see for themselves the craftsmanship. So if you are building a truly custom home and want someone who treats your project like it is their own, call Halyard Homes.

After searching for a home builder to build our "forever home" our search took us to the Texas Hill Country community of Mystic Shores. In our research, we found that Halyard Homes has the reputation for meticulous planning and tailored building. Unlike other builders that push rigid, cookie-cutter floor plans, the Halyard Homes team took the time to truly listen to our specific objectives. We were confident in their transparent and competitive pricing. Working together during construction felt like smooth sailing because of Halyard Homes organized framework. The constant communication kept us focused, and oversight of our project made us feel fully protected from expensive mistakes. The company's ability to work with the Architectural Control Committee was a real blessing. Now that we have been in the house for a month, we are absolutely thrilled with the final outcome. The layout functions perfectly for our daily routine, and the structural integrity and design finishes have completely met our high expectations.
