We intentionally keep our build volume low each year so that every homeowner gets a truly customized experience — not a production-line process. Building a home should be one of the most exciting seasons of your life, and we believe the right builder makes that season feel exciting instead of overwhelming. Halyard Homes exists to be that builder: hands-on, responsive, and personally invested in getting your home right.
About Alan Ganley
Alan grew up in northwest San Antonio and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a degree in Systems Management, focused on construction science. He started his career as a superintendent for a Houston-based home builder, overseeing quality and warranty on every home, before being promoted to project manager — running entire neighborhood builds from the ground up.
In 2007, Alan and his wife Jennifer started their own construction company in the Houston area, building new homes, additions, and remodels for homeowners across the region for 17 years. In 2021, Alan brought that same commitment to craftsmanship and customer care to the Texas Hill Country, founding Halyard Homes to serve the Spring Branch and Canyon Lake communities.
Today, with 23 years of hands-on building experience, Alan personally oversees every Halyard Homes project — from the first design conversation to the final walkthrough. There’s no hand-off to a rotating cast of project managers. The person who plans your home is the same person who builds it.
